On Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, we had an incredible virtual panel focused on Women and Leadership.

Panelists included:

  • Gabi Burn: Environmental Scientist, Sustainability Advocate, and Former Educator. Gabi currently works at Greenology Products, LLC.

  • Vykky Howard: Head of Social Media and Content Marketing at Advance Auto Parts.

  • Sonali Ratnasinghe: Co-Founder and Executive Director of General Services Foundation.

  • Marie Shelly: Head of HR, Payroll Delivery, and Associate Serving at Fidelity Investments.

  • Haley Thompson: Director of Outreach, Legacy Youth Leadership.

The conversation considered: What is leadership? How can female-identifying youth be leaders in their community By sharing experiences and obstacles, panelists heightened awareness of different definitions of leadership, shared ways to become confident leaders, and discussed how gender can have an impact on the way women work, live, and lead in their communities.
